Mother Nature Award Finalist Only female mining CEO is 2012 CEO Excel Awardee
Ms. Caroline L. Tanchay, president and chairman of Oriental Peninsula Resources (ORE), is recipient of the 2012 CEO Excel Awards awarded by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for her exceptional use of communication tools and strategies in management and leadership.

(ORE), is given in recent awards rites the Communication Excellence in Organization (CEO Excel Award) by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for her exceptional use of communication tools and strategies in management and leadership. ORE, and its mining subsidiary Citinickel Mines, is a publicly-listed, 100 percent Filipino company that started operations last year in Palawan. It employs about 1500 people directly and indirectly. Awarding the CEO Excel is IABC Philippines president Rizi V. Ronquillo (right). Other 2012 CEO Excel awardees include George SK Ty of Metrobank Group of Companies, Francisco Alejo III of San Miguel Purefoods, Oscar Reyes of Meralco, Nestor Tan of Banco De Oro, PNP Director General Nicanor Bartolome, etc.
