NARRA – In 2012, Citinickel constructed a computer laboratory at the San Isidro Elementary School in Bgy. San Isidro in Narra and equipped it with 15 computer units. This year, the same school finally gets its long cherished dream of having an oval playground where athletic meets can be held.

Thirty seven (37) less fortunate but deserving students also received scholarships to take up the course they prefer in any college, university, or vocational school in Palawan. Recently, these scholars have started to pay it forward with the ‘’Citinickels Scholars Give Back’’ program where they taught the basics of computer usage and applications to about 50 out of school youths, Indigenous Peoples, and other townsfolk.

The company also actively participates in programs initiated by the Department of Education, particularly the Adopt-A-School program, and Brigada Eskwela, which is being undertaken annually by the employees of Citinickel and the members of the host communities.
